Free Coloring Pages: The 2021 Roadmap

January 15, 2021 - 2020 was a big year for Color Collab. We jumped feet-first into a whole ocean of crisp, curated artwork - learning to swim along the way. Our goal at the start of the project was simple: get as much content to our users as possible. We took in the amazing linework you’ve come to expect from our partner Artists, got it stage-ready for mobile device online coloring, and presented it to you: the member.

Since then, we’ve been paying very close attention to what you like, love, and color the most. We know which pieces are fan-favorites, and which ones you love to color, share, and publish.

We also know that not all of you are Color Collab Plus subscribers, and that means that some of our coolest art has been inaccessible… until now.

With 2020 comfortably behind us, it’s time to say good-bye to some familiar pieces of Free art, and, more importantly, to say hello to a whole new wave of linework and possibilities.

Keep an eye on the the first few pieces of art in each category, because big changes are right around the corner.

Before the end of January, we’re going to cycle out all of the current 48 pieces of free art, and replace it with 48 new pieces - some of which were previously only available to Color Collab Plus subscribers. Don’t worry, the current art isn’t going anywhere, we’re just moving it out of the spotlight (temporarily).

Also: some time after January, we’re completely redefining how we process Free art!

Our back-end developers are already hard at work creating an automatic curation system that will cycle art in and our of the Free Art rotation every week.

What does that mean? Simple: come back every week to see which pieces are free that week! The more often you open up Color Collab on your phone or tablet, the more likely it is that you’ll be able to color those Plus pieces you’ve always had your eye on - all for free! But, skip a week, and you might have to wait for the piece to again be free, so, make sure to check the home page often!
